Who we are
Kelada (ABN 54 629 430 893) builds websites and AI tools for small businesses in Melbourne, VIC. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean Kelada. You can reach us at hello@kelada.au.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you use our enquiry form
Your name, business name, trade, phone number and anything you write in the message. The form sends these details to our email inbox. The website itself doesn't keep a copy.
When you book a call
Our booking buttons open a Google Calendar booking page. Google collects the details you enter there (usually your name, email address and phone number) and sends us the booking. Google's own privacy policy also applies to that page.
When you email or call us
Your contact details and whatever you tell us.
When you visit this website
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records things like the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your country, and your browser and device type. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally. Our host, Vercel, also processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure.
If you become a client
We'll also collect what we need to do the work and bill you, such as billing details and logins you choose to share with us for your website or accounts.
You don't have to give us your name to ask a general question by email. We do need a way to contact you if you'd like a reply.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To provide, support and bill for the work you've asked us to do.
- To run and improve our website and business.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax records.
We won't add you to a marketing list unless you agree. If we ever send you marketing emails, every one will have an easy way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services we use to run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Google (Google Workspace email and Google Calendar bookings)
- Vercel (website hosting and analytics)
- Our email delivery provider, which passes enquiry form messages to our inbox
We may also share information if the law requires it, or with your permission.
Information stored overseas
These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security practices, and we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in a way that's consistent with the APPs.
How we keep it safe
Our accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-step verification, and access is limited to the people who need it. We keep enquiries only as long as we need them. We keep client records for as long as the law requires (for tax records, usually five years), then delete them.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@kelada.au. We'll respond within 30 days. There's no charge.
Complaints
If you're worried about how we've handled your information, please email us first and we'll try to sort it out within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
